Lindhe Xtend receives 3.6 MEUR from EIC Accelerator blended funding scheme.

Lindhe Xtend, the Swedish company at the forefront of innovation in the field of prosthetics, will receive the prestigious EIC Accelerator grant and equity investment to finalise the development and commercialise its latest medical device. This market disruptive innovation is set to drastically increase the quality of life of millions of amputees across the world.

Jessika Broström, CEO Lindhe Xtend AB comments: “Working with GAEU was a true pleasure. Their thought-through and proven methodology of guiding you through the application process, step-by-step, was excellent. Applying for a grant of this size can be overwhelming for a small company like ours and with the consultants gradually guiding us through the process, this is a great way of actually reaching the end, getting the grant eventually. The consultants were really professional and worked as a sounding board as we developed the project scope and business plans of our project. Our dedicated project manager, Martin, also had a very good scientific and technical expertise that helped us forward. Backed up closely by the senior management with good knowledge in finance and funding/capital investments, we finally reached a positive outcome on our project and was granted 1,65 MEUR for our exiting development project Xtend U.”

Tomasz Wąsik, CEO GAEU comments: “We are extremely happy to be given trust to support a project with that strong societal impact. This project will give amputees the ability to live a free and active life with high quality of life. We are honoured to be a part of this development. We wish Lindhe Xtend best of luck during project execution phase.”
