SeaTwirl receives 5 MEUR from the Swedish Energy Agency
SeaTwirl receives 50.4 MSEK (approx. 5 MEUR) in grant funding within the program “Larger pilot and demonstration projects for energy and climate change transition”. The grant will allow SeaTwirl to install its 1 MW S2x turbine in Norway for demonstration and testing purposes. The project will contribute important data points for the continued scale up of the technology and be an important reference for SeaTwirl’s continued commercialisation where the aim is set for much larger turbines (10 MW and larger) in commercial windfarms.
GAEU Consulting supported SeaTwirl in developing the grant proposal to the Swedish Energy Agency.
